CONTINUALLY INNOVATING FOR CUSTOMER ADVANTAGE
Examples include;
The introduction of the DA62 to flight inspection
This means a 50% reduction in noise pollution which is especially important with low level flying operations and when flying over built-up or environmentally sensitive areas. The aircraft is also 60% more fuel efficient when compared to Flight Inspection aircraft used by other organisations.
Multi-stream Flight Inspection system
The FCSL proprietary Flight Inspection System (FIS 5000) is able to process multiple data streams concurrently allowing total flying time to be reduced.
Remote Flight Inspection
FCSL are currently developing a new concept for Flight Inspection that will see the equipment remotely operated from the ground. This allows much greater efficiency in airborne and ground operations, as well as the ability to provide real-time Flight Inspection results to ground engineering teams.
Drone Development Programme
FCSL is developing a Flight Inspection drone that will be integrated alongside aircraft operations to provide a blended solution to Flight Inspection work. Flight trials have already proven the technology and a Concept of Operations (CONOPS) is now being developed to allow operation in busy airports.
